CROWN J CATTLE COMPANY is located in south central Oklahoma a few miles south of historic Guthrie.
In the mid 1990's we began to acquire cattle after many years of facination with these beautiful animals. CJCC is
home to a small but select herd of longhorns and as time has passed we have striven to improve the quality of our cattle.
We have chosen cattle from many sources and are now seeing the results of our own planned matings. You will see these results
as you tour the website.
During this period we continue to develop clear goals and workable plan on where
we want to go with our breeding program. During 2008 we will begin to A-i certain cows to various bulls to further enhance
the quality of our program.
As you tour our website you will notice we are assembling a few true black females with serious
horn. Our plan is to concentrate on this black program along with continuing to breed our beautifully unusually
colored cows to black bulls. Here at CJCC we are serious about correct conformation along with thickness, strong nurturing,
milking ability and strong thick based horn of acceptable length. We are very sure you will be more than pleased with
the purchase of a CJCC longhorn.
Most of our cattle are not for sale however there always be some with reasonable prices unless
marked not for sale (NFS).
We do occasionally take cattle in trade on a case by case basis.
If you have a black cow for sale we would like to hear from you. All inquiries will be
considered.
