CROWN J CATTLE COMPANY is located in central Oklahoma a few miles south of historic Guthrie.
After years of facination with these cattle we began to acquire a few cows during the early 1990's.
CJCC is home to a small but select herd of longhorns and as time has passed we have striven to improve the quality of
our herd. Cattle have been chosen from many sources and we are now seeing the results of our own planned
matings. You will see these results as you tour the website.
During this period we continued to develop clear goals and a workable plan on where
we wanted to go with our breeding program.
As you tour our website you will notice we are assembling a few true black females with serious
horn. Our plan is to concentrate on this black program along with a few our beautifully unusually colored
cows to black bulls. In 2009 we have added the beautifully colored and powerfull bull Burlap II by Roundup to our program
to enhance our color, conformation and genetics. Here at CJCC we are most serious about correct conformation, thickness, intimate
nurturing, milking ability and strong thick based horn of acceptable length. We are very sure you will be more than
pleased with the purchase of a CJCC longhorn.
As we are still in an expansion mode most of our cattle are not for sale however there always
be some with reasonable prices unless marked not for sale (NFS).
We do occasionally take cattle in trade on a case by case basis.
If you have a black cow for sale we would like to hear from you. All inquiries will be
seriously considered.
